When you join the DAR, you enter a network of more than 177,000 women who memberatlargeform lifelong bonds, honor their Revolutionary War ancestors and promote historic preservation, education, and patriotism in their communities. These timeless overarching principles keep the DAR strong and vitally relevant in this ever-changing world. 

With more than 100 years of tradition, a vast array of service work, an historic National Society headquarters building with extraordinary collections, and countless activities taking place locally, nationally and globally, there is much to learn about the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Eligibility

Our Chapter welcomes new members. Any woman 18 years of age or older-regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background-who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership.
